Liar

He saw things that drove him insanity.
But they did not even think to take him seriously.
They sighed and rolled their eyes
Because they had no idea
What he saw.
They called him a liar.
But if he was lying,
Then he would make the voices stop.
He would smooth out the walls.
He would ignore the faces.
But he couldn't.
Because he wasn't lying.
And he wasn't a liar.
